IT Systems Engineer for oil and gas industry
CGGVeritas is a leading geophysical services company providing worldwide services to the oil and gas industry. As part of our business growth strategy, we are seeking to develop talent for the position of an IT Systems Engineer for the Jakarta Office.
Key Responsibilities:
The main duty is the daily technical management of the LINUX/MS-Windows based IT systems, which includes:
System administration: Operating systems installation, troubleshooting, monitoring, systems' tools installation, design. This can involve late or 24/7 work when required
Hardware, system & application software administration of the Linux-based cluster. Monitoring and improvement of LAN connectivity,
Storage systems management: RAID5 hardware & software installation, administration
Network monitoring and improvement: essentially Local Area Network
Indoors processing software debugging, upgrades, installation
Users support, application software troubleshooting, support for administrative staff (Microsoft products, backup systems etc…)
Tape drives support, operators (24/7) technical support
Active participation to the cross-training and expertise improvement of the IT team
Involvement in facilities management and HSE activities
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in the IT field and Linux administration
Preferably software development background
Preferably Bachelor degree in IT or related field
No shift work, but important flexibility and commitment is required
A fast-learner and able to exchange / communicate on technical matters
MANDATORY proficiency in written and spoken English
To meet strict deadlines in an analytical way
Able to commit to operational constraints and pressure
Customer-focused attitude is expected
Occasional travel for training or support in the Asia Pacific Region

Assistant Finance Manager for oil and gas industry
CGGVeritas is a leading geophysical services company providing worldwide services to the oil and gas industry. As part of our business growth strategy, we are seeking to develop talent for the position of an Assistant Finance Manager for the Jakarta Office.
The incumbent would be responsible and accountable for applying company's principles of accounting and procedures (IFRS, US GAAP, IND GAAP) to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports on timely manner by compiling information and utilizing accounting control procedures. In addition, the Assistant Finance Manager is required to manage and supervise financial and taxation affairs of the local company on day to day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete financial reports and its supporting schedules on timely manner.
Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and Resolve accounting discrepancies.
Interact with internal/external/tax auditors/consultants in completing audits/returns.
Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated accounting package (Oracle).
Plan, manage, monitor and report monthly cash flow activities
Plan, manage, monitor and report monthly local tax payments/reporting and group as well.
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal control.
Other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience
Familiar with SOX, IFRS, PSAK and Indonesian Taxation
Good working knowledge of Oracle Accounting Software will be an added advantage
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Possess good leadership skills and ability to provide guidance to the team
Hands-on proactive approach towards driving operational efficiencies
Possess high level of motivation to work in a fast pace environment and able to work under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ad-hoc business travel
