ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER - GRAIN OPERATION

ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER - GRAIN OPE Post Date: 23 Apr 09

Responsibilities :

To ensure the efficiency of grains and protein meal operations in the
facilities in Indonesia, currently in Cilegon and Surabaya. This role
requires the individual to lead and coordinate warehouse requirements,
operations processes, Food Safety standards, EHS requirements,
inventory- Production and cost management, Customer service and
quality management, personnel development, project management, and
operations efficiency to the highest possible standard and meets the
company's expectations.The ability to identify , develop, coach and
train local talents for future leadership positions is required.

Requirements :

· Minimum 5 years University Degree in any field

· Fluent in both written and spoken English and local Indonesia dialects
Computer literate

· Minimum 5 years working experience in EHS and Grains handling
or Food products environment

· Ability to travel away from home

· Strong communication and leadership skills

· Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions in the business

· Effective decision making and problem solving

· Having knowledge of import and export regulations in Malaysia

· Having knowledge regarding vessel handling and discharge

· Having knowledge in Grains handling / conditions, inventory
management, cost management & warehouse management

· Mechanical and building construction knowledge would be added advantage
