Accountant

A division of one of the worlds leading oil and gas recruitment and
manpower management companies requires an experienced accountant for
its expanding business in the centre of Jakarta.

Responsibilities

*
Successful candidate shall be expected to develop the company's
accounting and financial reporting systems
*
Transfer the accounting function from existing outsourced
service provider to in house fully managed service
*
Implement and manage monthly payrolling system for third party contractors
*
Maintain and manage company accounts in both Bahasa Indonesia
and English language
*
Credit control function including liaising with key client personnel
*
Prepare and submit monthly reports in accordance with Indonesian
finance and accounting regulations
*
Advise company regarding Withholding Tax and VAT and
administering accordingly
*
Advise and manage the transferring of funds internationally

Key Attributes
o
Good command of both English and Indonesian, written and spoken
o
Good degree in Accounting/Finance from recognised university
o
Experience in large scale payroll operations
o
Must be fully conversant with Indonesian income tax,
social security system
o
Must be legally permitted to produce accounts suitable for
official audit in Indonesia
o
Experience in contract recruitment business desirable
o
Experience in related oil and gas sector desirable but not essential
o
Experience with an organisation that has international
transactions in multiple countries, and the tax, legal and logistical
knowledge that is associated with international business
administration
o
Must be capable and mature enough to facilitate expansion
through the development of small team

Excellent salary and employment package for the right candidate

Candidate should have the ability to work within a small team with a
minimum of supervision following internal process training. Use own
initiative to set timescales with the flexibility to undertake a wide
range of tasks when required.
