PT. Agincourt Resources is a subsidiary of G-Resources.

G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold miner and explorer. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatera, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commence commissioning at the end of 2010 with first gold poured in early 2011. The plant is capable of producing at a rate of 250,000oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

Martabe with a resource base of 6.5Moz gold and 66Moz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asia-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.

PT Agincourt Resources is now pleased to invite applications for the following role:
GIS SPECIALIST (RES 0860)

This position reports directly to the Senior GIS Specialist and the role will involve the provision of GIS support, and expert assistance and training to all site Departments but in particular the Geology Department to enable efficient, concise and relevant reports, documents, geological plans and data to be available as required. Ensure that the exploration data is integrated to the site database and file structure and storage is transparent and easily used.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

* Geology or Science Degree in a related work discipline with an emphasis on GIS systems and computer skills to manipulate and display large datasets.
* Tertiary Degree in Geology is preferred but not essential
* Minimum of 5 years working experience with a substantial Mining or Exploration Company involved in GIS applications and database management.
* Short and long range planning experience to meet site requests and deadlines.
* Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas.
* Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
* Reasonable level of problem solving, hands on approach, able to motivate and lead a team
* High level of computer literacy skills in Mapinfo and/or ArcGis, is essential with some level of literacy in Autocad,, Micromine, would be an advantage.
* Candidates with without a Geology background but in related field ie Environment, Geography, or Database should also apply.
